Theme: Exploring Words and Feelings through Creativity

For:  Early years’ teachers and practitioners, heads of children’s centres, cultural managers, arts and cultural organisations, local authority advisors, early years’ professionals, early years’ lecturers

16:45   Earlyarts Welcome and Introductions (Education Room, Ground Floor)

Welcome and introductions by Nadine Baxter-Smallwood, North West Programme Officer, CapeUK

17:00   M6 Theatre Company presents One Little Word (Fine Art Gallery, First Floor)

An opportunity to see this thought-provoking and creative piece of theatre devised for 3-6 year olds. With conflict resolution as its central theme, it aims to extend communication skills, enhance emotional well-being and enrich children’s experiences of the world.

17:40   Dicussion about the piece, its use within early years settings and its impact
