Stay and Play at Eyres Monsell and Gilmorton Childrens Centre - a weekly play session for parents and children aged from birth to four years

How does creative movement develop joy and wonder in children and adults?

Curiosity and enjoyment are two of Ferre Laevers indicators in “deep level learning”. We were interested to see how being involved in creative movement activities could have an effect on children and adults discovery of joy and wonder and how this affected the way they treated each other and the materials they were working with.
