Theme: Exploring Story and Theatre within Early Years (including ‘Finding Leaves for Soup’)

For: Artists, early years practitioners, heads of centres, cultural managers, local authority advisors, early years professionals, arts or cultural organisations

Programme:

9.30 Refreshments available

10.00 Earlyarts Welcome - including Earlyarts knowledge – speed networking, key events coming up in the sector, review of the latest research and publications.

10:30 Speed Presentations and discussions on local innovative projects:

  • James Cangiano, Curator (Learning) at the Ikon Gallery will discuss Early Years projects facilitated by the Ikon.
  • Cynthia Knight from St Thomas Children’s Centre will be speaking about the recent Creative Childhoods initiative.

11:30 Delegates watch Finding Leaves for Soup (information here)

12.30 Lunch (please bring your own lunch or money for the wine REPublic, or any other local venue you fancy)

13.30 CPD Workshops: delegates will attend both workshops during the course of the afternoon

Workshop 2

Using Theatre and Creativity with Early Years.
