Workshop Descriptions

Creative movement with Rachelle Green

This workshop will give you an experience of developing movement ideas through the outside environment. Exploring shapes, space and travelling, journeys and stories, we will explore a number of movement themes that can be taken back and explored in your settings. The session will also introduce how we might choose to accompany dance ideas generated outside.

Environmental visual arts with Jenni Dutton

We will explore a variety of ways to make dens out of bamboo from scrap store, willow grown on The Levels or just leavings from your gardens and natural spaces. These can be developed in a variety of ways to explore storytelling, weaving or just as a way to promote imaginative creative play adaptable to fit with themes that the children are involved with.
