Young Children’s Creative Thinking
Grove House, Froebel College, University of Roehampton. A one day conference, Saturday 16 June 2012, exploring how identifying creative thinking in young children can be used to support practitioners.
The importance of promoting young children's creative thinking has been a vital element in the Froebel Research Fellowship (FRF), an ongoing research project on 'The Voice of the Child: Ownership and autonomy in early learning', funded by IFEI since 2002. The FRF team has produced articles and book chapters, and given presentations for many academic and professional groups throughout this period, and they have recently brought this work together in the forthcoming book Young Children's Creative Thinking, to be published by Sage in 2012.
