Tuesday saw me meeting with some incredible social entrepreneurs from 7.30am at the Clearly So conference. Far from yawning, we had an action-packed day debating the existing challenges and potential alliances between social investors and social enterprises like Earlyarts, all of whom had one purpose in mind - to make a big difference in our communities.

I won a slot to pitch Earlyarts' offer to the investors gathered there, with a view to exploring sustainable ways for the arts, cultural and early years sectors to support children's learning in the future. Clearly So made a little video of the pitches. Needless to say, brevity has never been my strong point and getting a compelling argument the size of Earlyarts into 45 seconds without watering it down beyond recognition was probably one of my greatest challenges to date!

Anyway, we didn't win but we did get some lovely feedback.
